The Gluten Free Epicurean - Vancouver

They have really yeast donuts and delicious cookies and chocolate cake. My favourite is the sausage rolls and chicken pot pie, cuz most gf place do nice sweets but GFE does savoury. There’s a delicious sausage cheese bun thing too.

Lovely spot with an abundance of selection and really excellent flavours! This is not a “it tastes like it has gluten” good, but rather “this is better than gluten ever was” good!

Went at 2:30 in the afternoon on a Saturday and they had a handful of fresh bakery items in stock. We didn't have much selection but what we bought was good. My son loved his peanut butter brownie. We both enjoyed the baguette- so crunchy and soft, great taste. We also grabbed the GF ice-cream sandwiches which were a tasty treat on a hot day. This is an amazing bakery! Like a lot of the reviews- I can't believe everything is gluten free. Everything I tried was delicious- I dream about their savory buns and donuts. Their flavors are so unique too! If you need gluten free options, I highly, highly recommend this bakery.

I visited today hoping to find gluten-free croissants but they only have them twice a week, so I guess I’ll have to come back! The staff was very friendly. I went around mid-afternoon and they still had a pretty good selection of pastries. I bought a couple things and quite enjoyed their amaretto cookie (didn’t eat the other thing yet). I loved their selection of houseware items too; they didn’t have too much so it wasn’t overwhelming.
