First time was about a year ago before seeing Sir Paul McCartney and i had a great time and i remember the food was great. But on this last trip just before seeing Metallica it was a different story. My drink was great but that was about it. I had The Standard Burger but i have to say it was below standard, or the standard has been lowered. Found service was slow but hey it was very busy. I'll give this place another try sometime and hope for the best. The location was great though nice walking distance to the QE Theater, BC Place, and Rogers Arena.
Its a bit out of the way but definitely doable as far as walking goes, keeps you out of the crowds.Fish and chips, sliders and wings, such a great pub menu, plus lot of other options.Service was friendly, food was hot and quick with good flavor. a wee bit of an outdoor patio in the summer, but a large space with lots of tables. Reasonably priced. We will go back.
Good place to call in on, at the fringes of Chinatown and Gastown, it's got a good vibe and nice atmosphere, pleasant service. Beers choices are alright - but I wish they'd more offering for cider lovers! Food's tasty, so all 'round nosh-worthy pub grub. Can imagine it gets crowded at times. Pub height tables and stools, so probably not the best location for those in wheelchairs. Private rooms can be rented for events, otherwise it is probably a first come, first served place. Get there early!
Great place for draft beer and wings. Huge selection of sauces. We had honey mustard, bourbon BBQ, Death wish and sweet chili which were all delicious. This is our second visit in a week, so yummy if you love wings. No regrets. Remind you it is a noisy place and great pub atmosphere. We walked by late one night and there was a line up to get in.
This place is almost always packed so if you're planning on going here before a show or something be sure to get there early, especially if it's WING WEDNESDAY! When wings are 40 cents each and they have 40 different sauces/rubs etc. They also do perogies 40 ways which seems weird but is pretty awesome. The one downside... despite being called the pint they in fact have an awful beer selection.
