Dairy Queen Grill Chill - Vandalia

This place has gone down hill. I came through the drive-thru and ordered two cheesecake strawberry royal blizzard’s with brownie pieces added. I got home only to find out that they didn’t give me what I ordered l. I called and the young lady argued with me and insisted that she gave me a receipt. I went back and they were rude and continued to insist that I ordered a Oreo blizzard. I asked if they could make what I originally ordered. The language barrier made even difficult since the young girl still didn’t understand what I wanted and asked if I wanted Oreo pieces even after I explained what I wanted. I will never come back and waste my time dealing with this place. If you can’t understand English please stop trying to run a business in this country!!!!!

The food was great, the employees we're doing a really good job which is pretty rare these days. The older building set the atmosphere of a time period from the past. Others may not enjoy it, but I felt like a kid going in there. If y'all get a chance, check it out.

One of the nicest experiences I have ever had at a fast food joint. We had a rather big order, so naturally, the ice cream and cold treats got done first. Instead of them melting on the counter, the young lady put them in the freezer and only pulled them out when the hot food was ready. Most burger places, when you get your burger, it looks nothing like the burger on the website. I can honestly say my Bacon, cheese grill burger looked exactly as pictured on the website. No flat pancake looking mess, but a nicely put together burger like the website menu pictures. The fries, were salted perfectly, and just the right amount of crispiness. The cheese curds were also nice and crispy and not the greasy mess we have gotten from other places. The banana split I had for desert was full of what looked and tasted like fresh bananas, probably frozen strawberries, but that's all right, and the pineapple was nice, and not mushy. To top it off, there was the proper amount of chocolate sauce and not the usual flood of chocolate sauce you find at other places. The service was quick, and the young lady that took our order was prompt, friendly, and made sure we had enough straws, napkins, spoons and sauces. A really great and surprisingly perfect fast food stop off...highly recommend this Dairy Queen

I love this location so much. their food is always extremely fresh, made quickly, and ALWAYS correct. the customer service alone keeps me coming back. i love the people here! the yummy food is just a bonus :

We love this DQ- we drive past the one in the city where we live to go this one because their Blizzards are so much better, they do a great job and have quick service!
