I was quite happy to discover this lounge right by my gate, with a wonderful, fulfilling espresso machine. Double espresso for the win, especially at 6am....
A brightly lit, fairly compact lounge that has a reasonable amount of seating, a modest buffet with reasonably satisfying fare, and an equally modest...
That was a very pleasant experience. For a long look, a lounge is a must if you can plan it. It is about $10 cheaper, $45 per person if you add during your online check-in, it can still be bought in the lounge at $55 per person. It offers a free buffet, a free coffee centre and a fully equipped beverage/tail bar. It was surprising to see a design beer dispenser next to soft drinks dispenser. Pass says 3 hours stay, but no one really came and checked who was in or out. Showers were really clean and packed with all for a hotel bathroom you would rate 5. I ask you to keep more than 30 seconds on the coldest setting of the shower. It was very close to the ice bucket challenge. Overall, it is an experience you should treat at the airport.
This is definitely a lively lounge, especially in the early morning. There is a nice selection of Nordic breakfast (both cold and hot) and drinks. The seating areas were quite full, especially near the entrance and the canteen. So I went all the way inside, and at the end of the hall I found a quiet seating area with massage chairs (also many people). A beautifully designed room with interesting ceiling lights that look like clouds. I immediately thought this space concept is very “Finn Air”.
