Canton Royale Restaurant - Varanasi

Visited this place for brunch. Well first of all, the place and ambience was nice, it wasn't great but not bad either. The order was served within 15 mins and as one can guess, crispy babycorn lacked in its taste. There was too much salt in there making it hard to eat and above all it wasn't crispy at all. I will not say that it was a bad experience, just not up to the mark with other popular restaurant near by.

Food is good. But service is terribly slow. Am writing this review while sitting in the restaurant and waiting for my food and it's still not here. Have been waiting for over 30 mins and getting annoyed!

I ordered the non-veg platter which was really good. It was only mutton and chicken meat though, no fish. You get 4 or 5 kinds of kebabs, all with distinct flavours. My favourite was the Mutton kebab, a red mince meat patte with a tasty cheese based filling; yumm. Do try it.

I walked in Canton Royale on a Saturday afternoon basis online reviews. The place is nicely done and the interior decor gives that old world charm. Service was quick and prompt. I ordered a Chicken Maharaja Thali which had quite a wide variety of sabji's (4 different ones), breads, pulao, daal, lassi and gulab jamun. Almost all of the food was very good. The corn mutter suzbi dal makhani were exceptional. The only not so great item on the thali was the chicken tikka starter which was dry and flavors were out of balance.Overall I had a very good experience and would highly recommend the place.

The food here was extremely good, especially the pizza.The service and the ambience was also top notch. We ordered a couple of pizzas, the kebab platter and the black bean burger. Everything was up to the mark and delicious.
