Ronnums Herrgaard Restaurang - Vargoen

At the restaurant, we were offered a choice of a 3-course dinner where you could select one or more dishes. Prices were not listed for individual items. They had a wine list available. The main course was good (beef fillet, which we chose). For the second dinner, we did not receive a menu or wine list until we asked for it. Appetizers were good (carpaccio and fish, which were okay). Everything looked good, but the atmosphere seemed a bit relaxed. There was no beauty or drink menu available every evening. The breakfast buffet was okay, but the staff seemed a bit rushed.

This restaurant is great for burgers, especially considering how upscale it is. The generous portions of fries earned this place 4 stars!

I have been eating at this restaurant on and off since 1984 and it has gone through some tough times, but recently I am hopeful that it is on its way back to the top. The food was really good yesterday and I had an excellent meal at the restaurant in Ronnum recently.
