Good service pleasant atmosphere. Very nice drinking area plus further seating on the first floor. We went with my brother-in-law who lives in Sweden, and he used this pub in a regular basis. For information to visitors to Sweden a lot of places do not accept currency and most spending is by debit or credit card. But a beautiful country to vist.
This restaurant is cozy with a British spirit and occasionally features live bands. However, the restrooms could use a refresh.
After a long day of exploring the city, we found ourselves at Pitchers feeling hungry. We decided to grab dinner and a pint. We ordered bangers and mash along with a bacon cheeseburger. The bangers and mash were delicious, while the cheeseburger was exceptional. To wash it all down, we enjoyed a couple of pints of Somersby cider, which was refreshing. The atmosphere at Pitchers was fantastic, and the food was top-notch. The staff was also very friendly and accommodating.
We are currently in Frankfurt on our Sales Kick Off. Working for Verizon as Client Partners to some of the largest companies in the world we are not your average rowdy sales lot! After a long day of Powerpoint slides and a nice meal we ventured into this bar this evening. Almost as soon as we entered the barman barked at us that we would not be allowed to split any bill (there are 20 of us) and we would have to have one person ordering the drinks and that same one person paying for them. Whilst I appreciate that he didnt want 20 bills, his attitude absolutely stunk and he could have tried to work with us! At the end of the day we are going to be spending money in his establishment! Not only is this man a complete idiot, he's also a **** rude one! Probably one of the most unfriendliest people I have ever had the misfortune of meeting. We most definitely will not be visitng here again, well unless he gets another job elsewhere, which should not be in any form of hospitality!
