The delivery was incomplete, incorrect, and the chips were soggy and cold. We ordered 3 steak sandwiches without cheese (due to allergies) and a rippchen. We were very disappointed with the subpar service.
This restaurant is a fantastic spot for delicious steaks and burgers. The food is fresh, tasty, and my partner especially enjoys the steak while I love the chicken burger. The fries are also quite good.
Aussie aussie burger South African style! no ananas! or even the option to add! not aussie on all small sizes and wayyyy overpriced! thank you, but no thanks. there are many other true aussie real burger places to pay with honest aussie prices. we have starved. are they sure that their number 1 on trip adviser? not sure how this happened, but they don't get our vote!
Our children wanted to dinner yesterday evening burger and pommes. we were recommended to the butchers grill in vaucluse. we had classic rindburger with cheddar and speck. the burgers were served with 100% grasbeef, salad, tomato, burgersauce, relish and pickel. The...hoestring pommes were excellent. well made young and thank you for making our children very happy.
Upon first glance, this restaurant may seem unassuming. We ordered a Reuben Sandwich and a steak sandwich with chips and a drink to complete our meal. I chose wedges while my husband preferred skinny fries. The wedges were well-seasoned but unfortunately cold, though the chipotle sauce made up for it. The Reuben sandwich had tender meat with a special sauerkraut Russian sauce that paired perfectly with the pickle and sauerkraut. The steak sandwich had an abundance of caramelized onion, which was a bit overpowering, but easily remedied by removing some. The steak itself was incredibly tender and separated with every bite, unlike other steak sandwiches where the meat is difficult to find. Both sandwiches were served on toasted sourdough bread, adding an extra level of flavor. Overall, this restaurant is definitely a hidden gem.
