This charming restaurant offers a cozy atmosphere and greets guests with a complimentary pot of warm jasmine green tea upon arrival. The menu offers a wide variety of options, all of which proved to be delicious. The "Regular" size pho soup was impressively large and the lunch portions were also substantial. For only $8.99, diners can enjoy a generous meal with their choice of soup or drink.
We have lunch at this restaurant frequently and always enjoy it. Yesterday was no exception - it was really good. Even though it's been a year since my last visit, I will definitely come back as this small restaurant is worth it. It may be small and simple, but the food is delicious and the prices are very reasonable. The grilled pork is always a favorite, along with the vermicelli and tasty dipping sauce. The service was fine.
Five of us were in this very casual little restaurant twice last month for lunch. every time it was very good. try the 301b, which consists of vermicelli, chopschrimp on sugar cane, grilled bark and Vietnamese meatballs. that's eating. well prepared and beautifully presented. the server looks very creepy with never a smile.
The food at this Vietnamese restaurant is inconsistent. I have been dining here on and off for the past few years, but the owner and chef seem to change every 2 years. I usually order their pho, rice dishes, and vermicelli, but the quality varies from amazing to just alright. The beef and pork can be too chewy and sweet at times. The lady at the front of the restaurant sometimes makes unnecessary comments about your family or group, assuming you don't speak Vietnamese. Despite these issues, it is probably the best option in the Vaughan Mills plaza. I do not recommend Picko Lime or Pho 99 as I have gotten food poisoning there multiple times. Personally, I prefer Viet Thai or Pho Vaughan for better food and service, although my friends enjoy this restaurant.
