Pizzeria Da Leopoldo

The food was absolutely amazing, better than some I ate in Italy. The staff is very friendly and speaks English very well. I'm really glad I stumbled over this restaurant and I would recommend it to everyone.

The restaurant is near the Christmas market and outside looks like no guest. When we arrived, we had to wait for our table. We order two pizzas Da vinci and Andiamo, both pizzas were delicious. I gave 4 stars because Da vinci Pizza was not listed as sharp.

This late in the evening after a long drive starved. The restaurant is very busy at any time and serves until late food. Pizza was not too bad, but unfortunately I ordered a pizza divola that should have peppers and chili, but this had plenty of chili powder mixed in the cheese and it made it absolutely taste. This was not mentioned on the menu and when I pointed out that she said that she warned me the pizza was hot. Of course, no one told me that there was Cayenne chili powder in the pizza, and when I pointed out, she called the manager who tried very hard to convince me that "Peperoncini" meant Cayennes chili powder until I googled it before her when she would not take my word for her that this actually meant chili pepper. Then she quickly took my plate and said angry that she would replace my pizza. There was no excuse. So rude! But it seems that it is a norm for this neck of forests sad. Wouldn't be back to the restaurant or to the area as they all seem to tear off tourists.

I decided to come to Pizzeria Da Leopoldo just because the nice view to the lake. From the beginning the lady who received me (totally with an unfriendly expression and clearly not enjoying her job), ask me to change the table cause the table where I sitted, was a colder place , I would believe this excepting for her expression on his face asking me in not a kind way, so I decided to change just because I was tired and hungry to defend my decision and right as a guest. I ordered Prosecco, water and Viola Pizza, she left and then who brought my food was another girl (younger and nicer), a guy brought my pizza and so disappointing; the mace burned almost the whole corner around, the pizza was so soft under and the cheese tasteless, the ham with a not really nice taste aswell, honestly I just wanted to pay and leave but, none of the waiters came in around 20 minutes, the mature woman who received me in a bad way came around, check the table next to mine and passed me even whitout asking nothing at all, I think she mentioned something but never looked to me, which I consider so rude, the younger waitress came and then I could pay and leave with a bad taste in my mouth and my experience, honestly people If your staff is in a bad mood, dont let them attend cause that is totally reflected on the service and food, I hope you take on count my opinion. Thank you.
