Walzer Etterem Es Panzio - Velence

This restaurant has a variety of vegan foods, which you hardly can eat anywhere else in Hungary! They serve more of a traditional Hungarian cuisine. Service was really nice, we ate on the terrace, it’s calm and quiet here. Would recommend 10/10!

We have dined at this restaurant more than once, and though the menu has changed since our first visit, it continues to be exceptional. Vegan restaurants should take note of their impressive vegan menu. I highly recommend this place to those seeking a break from hamburgers and pizza.

Walzer is a rare find near Velence Lake, offering a variety of vegan options. I visited with two fellow vegans and we sampled the garlic soup, mushroom soup, Laboda seitan, and cottage cheese balls - all of which were delicious. The prices are also very reasonable.

Nice place in quiet area. Nothing special. Good prices. Large portions. Had garlic soup and mushrooms with potatoes as well as fried pancakes with cinnamon and apples. Service is friendly but slow. Updated from previous review on 2021-08-09
