La Mar De Tapas - Vélez-Málaga

Very tasty and interesting range of tapas(2.50 euros each) We tried the Argentinian empanadas and rosada- both were excellent. Highly recommended

We came across this typical Spanish restaurant whilst walking with a group of ten friends from Mezquitilla to Torre del Mar along the Paseo Maritimo. The staff were not fazed by our arrival and immediately moved tables for us to sit together. Despite them not speaking English and our not speaking Spanish we managed to order our food and drinks and the waitress was efficient and friendly. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. The mixed seafood platter was amazing and good value for money.

Very unusual with a place that administrate both meat and fish as well as th is place! Try the bocerones en vinagre

Fresh and delicious Spanish tapas!!!Fried spinach, baby calamari and anchovies are definitely my favourites.

El restaurante es muy acogedor, la comida es casera y variada. Eva tiene unas manos maravillosas. La calidad de los productos es excelente. El salmón con crema de puerros es delicioso, al igual que el churrasco de pollo a la brasa. Es uno de mis platos favoritos, pero todo lo que pidas está increíble. Si quieres comer como en casa, este es el lugar ideal. Además, el trato y la amabilidad de los camareros es excepcional.
