Had dinner there, simple food, mostly pre frozen stuff, croquettas, patatas bravas etc, but eager to please and quite friendly. Bullfighting memorabilia interesting as well
We’d been here just for coffee initially, served outside in the square in front of the church, and then came back for dinner to try out their food and then lunched with friends as they wanted to see the interior of the restaurant. Why? The decor here depicts old bull fighting memorabilia, which was really interesting to pore over. So, obviously the decor here is very Spanish. It celebrates a particular matador (Pepin) and in the restaurant (at the rear) there are many many interesting posters covering all the walls depicting old advertising for his performances and there’s also a large and quite tall glass display case containing a matadors costume (presumably his) plus swords etc. Very interesting to see such things close up. Many local people eat here, and it gets quite busy which (in the universal language of restaurant quality) tells me it’s good, so when we ordered our meals we were really happy to find the service is good and very friendly. It’s not fine dining, guys, but good quality fare and you won’t walk away hungry! Enjoy!
Not visited this restaurant for a while...with regrets! Good quality, very stylefull presentation and fair prices.
