Solorzano's Pizzeria - Venice

We stopped by this past Saturday night for a few slices of pizza and we’re helped by Ricardo. He was incredibly kind and although we planned to get the pizza slices to go we ended up staying and having a few drinks. Ricardo has amazing customer service skills and he definitely deserves a raise!

We lived in Italy for 6 years, nothing stateside has come close to authentic other than this place. This is by far the best pizza this side of the pond. Very convenient hours and delivery. Great home town feel for the beach weary crowd.

Disgusting! Ordered spaghetti and meatballs pepperoni pizza did not get spaghetti, got rigatoni so starchy. Could not even pick a noodle up without falling apart. Pizza was so soggy did not hold its form. When I got home I called she told me. Oh, so sorry they ran out of spaghetti. So they just gave me whatever they wanted to. Did not say anything about the pizza being so soggy. And then told me sorry you had a bad experience. We'll never go back.

Looking for a quick pizza joint the night before we leave. Took a chance Solorzano's and couldn't be happier. Ordered small pepperoni pizza. Love the thin crust with a slightly burnt bottom. Definitely one of the better pizza we have had while in Siesta Key.
