It's more than just a dive bar; it's a wonderful boardwalk watering hole that lacks the pretentiousness of Waterfront and the tourist crowd of Ale House.
The place was bustling with people who seemed to know one another. It felt like we were the only ones who just happened to walk by and chose to stop in. There were about five or six people with big dogs, all of whom were very friendly. Many friends were chatting, while others were watching college football on the numerous screens. We ended up staying for several hours, relishing the feeling of being part of the neighborhood.
Incredible experience! Dave was incredibly helpful and such a genuinely nice person.
First trip to LA, went down to the beach for a visit and some food. This place is really good, service was excellent, plenty of room inside and out. Busy but not crazy, well priced drinks and food was really good. Would definitely come back if I return to LA.
The meal was quite pricey, and I was surprised to see a 20% gratuity added to the bill without any prior notice. What’s the reason for that?
