Resto-Bar Terrasse La Marina

We ate on the terrace, a table near the water. The atmosphere was quiet and relaxed. service was excellent and fast. We must say that we arrived early for the meal, so there were not many people sitting around us yet. The food was delicious. I took the shack burger and I loved it. I haven't eaten such a delicious burger for a long time! for a first visit, we enjoyed at the highest point this restaurant.

I ate one dinner and two breakfasts here recently. The views are great, and servers are friendly. Service was very slow for each of the meals I ate, whether the restaurant was busy or not (if you have children, bring something to occupy them). There is always loud music blaring, whether for breakfast or dinner. At dinner, it was so loud I had issues communicating with my server. The food is okay, not great. I had mussels and fries my first night. The mussels were fine (they only had to be steamed) but the fries were soggy and not crisp. The website advertises local specialities, but the menu is mostly burgers, pizza, fried fish etc. They do have various types of poutine, but I didn't try these after sampling the soggy fries. I ate two breakfasts here. The first day I had a ham and cheese omelette. The ham was diced into the egg (not a fold-over omelette) and some ham pieces were rubbery and difficult to chew. The cheese was a slice of neon orange processed cheese. It would help if they gave people a choice of cheese (maybe brie, given it's a French region)? The next day I went with just bacon and eggs, and it was less disappointing. Overall, I think this place is fine to enjoy drinks and a view, but I wouldn't eat here again. I spoke with a few locals in the area while I was there and they made the same recommendation.

I'm not a chialous guy, waitress to pass I don't understand how it is that when we come back to a place (which is someone's bread, his name tsee) and that the first thing I'm saying is - I warn you 45 minutes waiting for the kitchen! and this Monday night the restaurant had only half of the full terrace! and not to mention the 20 min before being seen by the waitress food the prices are inflated for what it is (I expected but not at this point) and ha yes the specialty -fish and chips and guess what?! Well yes there was no more!!!! short the view is very good appetite the appetite

A nicely situated restaurant with a very interesting view of the lake, modern in the inside we a decent menu . Fish they're specialty and I can tell you the cod fish its amazing! A practical wine list with also good beers. Service its good and prices are decent. A nice place in the middle of Venice en quebec , to have lunch and enjoy the view!
