A nice place to stop by when on the road. Decent food with good pricing. Only gripe is that it is kind of hidden and you need to really focus to find it. Otherwise no complaints. Saw the prices of food (very very affordable) thought mmm ... substandard food? To our surprise, the food was amazing. Home cooked. No frozen rubbish. And the service amazing. Friendly. Geel and his partner Monique made us feel at home. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: R 100–150

Such a lekker place to chow brekkie away from the madding crowds. Only suggestion to make it excellent would be filter coffee but that’s more my preference. Clean loo, tasty brekkie for only R65 and nice touches like interesting jams to try. Friendly service and lovely garden Take the Fat Butcher slipway and it is a converted house around the corner.

Fantastic host and excellent fresh food! Definitely worth stopping on your way through. Conveniently next to the highway and an absolute treat! 6/5 stars!
