Sunfish Sushi - Venterstad

I went to Sun Fish on Sunday. It was quite a pleasant experience. The service was a bit slow, but granted we were four people. The waitress was sweet and overall it was a good experience. The sushi, which we came for, wasn't too bad either. I was pleasantly surprised overall.

Make sure you have a few hours to enjoy their specials! The sushi is great, super fresh with a good variety. The service is friendly and helpful but dont go for the decor. NB. Beware the saki!!!!

Sunfish is our go to sushi restaurant in stellenbosch. The sushi is cheap and good. The service is decent. The tiger rolls and plain salmon California rolls are good. They even have a R38 special sometimes on all their sushi and this makes it even more fantastic.<br/

Great sushi place with an impossible-to-beat all you can eat special at a mere R130. Go before 15:00 and you get unlimited wine/cooldrinks too! Lovely salmon roses, sashimi and some cool tempura dishes.

As sushi places go, Sun Fish is pretty much your standard sushi restaurant. The salmon is always fresh, and the service is quite quick. They offer an 'all you can eat ' option for a set amount throughout the day, but during lunch time the drinks (wine/ cool drink) are unlimited and included in the set price of R130. This is quite good value for money, and could be a nice option for an extended boozy sushi lunch, in the beautiful touristy area of Stellies.
