Everything was great except the food. Unfortunately, Chinese restaurants in these upscale areas just don’t measure up. They really need to keep it authentic. It’s clear they’ve never experienced real Chinese food from local neighborhoods, where the focus is on tradition rather than finesse, using grandma's recipes. Service: 5, Atmosphere: 5.
My sister and I went in with high expectations, but sadly, the food was completely lacking in flavor. We were unsure about posting a review, but our disappointment hasn't faded. We spent $45 for two people, and in the end, we had to throw away the leftovers because nobody wanted to eat them. It was really unfortunate quality. Food rating: 1.
We had high hopes for this given the cute name and location. However, it was a HUGE disappointment. And I hate to write bad reviews, but it was just so bad that I have to. Chicken with Broccoli ZERO flavor. Broccoli was undercooked (which I prefer, but others thought it was a little too raw Vegetable Udon with added tofu ZERO flavor. (Didn't like the thin egg noodles, but we didn't know you could order a choice of noodle. String beans with brown sauce ZERO flavor. Honestly it tasted like the plastic container or something was wrong with it. Threw it out. Hot Sour Soup EXTREMELY SPICY. Some liked it, others couldn't eat it at all. This is a pretty standard item and it's something we get often at other places. Never been this spicy. Maybe they forgot they already spiced it and spiced it again? Chicken w/Vegetable noodle very LITTLE flavor. Huge pieces of vegetables (like whole bok choy stalks that you couldn't eat it like a soup. You had to cut each piece into 2 3 pieces before eating. The Steamed BBQ pork bun was good The Roast Pork Lo Mein was good. I guess if I ever had to go back, i would stick to the pork products. Everything chicken and tofu were tasteless. Spent $100 for 4 people. There was enough for 6 7 servings, but, unfortunately, we threw out the leftovers. No one wanted to eat it again. The food is excellent, the service is outstanding, and the restaurant is spotless! It's very well managed as well. You get great value for your money. I absolutely love the Cashew Chicken and the dim sum, and I've never had a bad dish here.
