Yama Japanese - Ventnor City

Unassuming place but it is one of the best sushi restaurants in Jersey shore.

Yama!!! Wow! What a fantastic local sushi spot along the jersey shore! Not pictured were the edamame, miso soups, garden salad, and curry soup that we ordered as appetizers. All of them were delicious. Then out came the party tray for 3 and honestly the best decision to get. This had a little bit of everything from sashimi, to hand rolls and more. It's all a chefs choice but they chose very well for us. I think there were 80+ pieces on the tray and we finished nearly all of it. I'm definitely keeping this in my list for my next sushi craving down the shore.

Their special roles are very good and the fish is very fresh. my only problem is that the prices are astronomical. that is ventnor not manhattan.

Best sushi on the island. takeout is convenient. 30 minutes is the waiting time in the rule.
