The tacos are tasteful. I had not expected these to like so much, especially after the casser said that it had mixed rust in meat. I don't know what else, but these are still on my tounge, it was so good. a must try for everyone. the burrito we had was garnel and calamari. it was okay, nothing special. it needed more taste, more juices from the garnel and calamari would have been on the rice large.
Food was pretty decent. Huge line and I'm sure that's always the case. But we sat waiting for our food for about 30min after waiting in line for 45. Finally I gave in and asked what the hold up was and they had lost our ticket so our food was never made. The young man I spoke to was very nice and apologetic and promised they would make it right away and even offered a free chip and salsa which I declined as I had ordered some with my meal. They did call my number just a few minutes later but then I didn't get my chips and salsa so I had to go back up again to get that. Again, he was very nice about the situation and offered a free drink to rectify. The salsa was not good so I recommend skipping that and maybe do chips and guacamole instead. Fish tacos were pretty good
Great local fish/burrito/combo plate value, plus it's the Ventura pier! Canned wine from Oregon vineyards, WOW! Try the shrimp Diablo combo taco plate! Right amount of flavor and heat
GREAT BREAKFAST. GOOD PORTIONS, YET EXTREMELY HEALTHY. WARMTH OF THE PATIO HEATERS EXCEEDED ONLY BY LOLA'S SMILE AS SHE GRACIOUSLY SQUEEGEED MY SEAT FOR ME. GOING TO MAKE IT A REGULAR WEEKEND BREAKFAST STOP
