Kyoto Sushi - Ventura

If I could give more stars, I would. Great sushi spot! The service is wonderful and the sushi is always fresh and tasty. I work nearby and eat lunch here at least once a week. Definitely recommend!!!

Excellent food excellent service. This is a great environment to enjoy time alone or time with family or loved ones. Highly recommended! I will be back.

Tried the Ventura roll and teriyaki beef. Ventura roll had extra shell bits inside my roll. Teriyaki beef tasted off.

I don’t typically write unless it’s really bad or really good. 4.5 star rating is laughable. The restaurant wasn’t busy when we got there. The service was slow. We were going to eat in but it took so long we ended up needing to eat at home. The rolls seemed small and it didn’t seem all that fresh. My wife and daughter each found a bone in their food. One was in a sushi roll and the other was in the teriyaki chicken that came as a bento box. When you spend over $100, you expect better. Do yourselves a favor and get better for less.

I’ve been coming here for years. The current owners are very nice and the Sushi is delicious.
