Coatepec has a long and illustrated history to be one of the best coffeemakers, producers and exporters. If you love coffee, you will like this place. As always, local companies support.
What an excellent museum and tour. The museum is small but has many interesting pieces and coffee paraphernalia. However, the winner is the intimate and informative tour that explains the local coffee making process with a coffee tasting at the end. Samuel, our leader was brilliant. He was patient with us non-Spanish speakers while he was super friendly and he explained the process to us. Very recommended.
Beautiful small museum. they pay 60 pesos to get in. then they can walk around a little and then they will give them a tour and tell them all about the production of coffee. they can also taste coffee. the smell is great as I love him! also there is a small business where they can buy coffee and related things.

Great tour and explanation of coffee plantation and the history of coffee in Mexico. Passionate family about their business and coffee culture.
