Food was awesome, homemade fries and the steak sliders were killer!!!! Arrived when the kitchen was closing and they stayed open for us.

Food and hospitality were amazing!!!! great beer choices too!

Dont miss this find- what a treat! Hometown goodness, mmm-mmm in the heart of the Kolach capital in Verdigre, NE. We happened in on the only day they served lunch (Thursdays).Porkchop special is a thick, tender chop with meaty egg noodles and lightly-covered in mushroom gravy. Gravy has chunks of nice-sized mushrooms and doesn't overpower the flavor of the food. Served with side of mixed vegetables and dinner roll...and CUPCAKES ! Owner friendly and CARES about his customers. Be sure to try their fresh burgers and homemade onion straws which are the BIG local draw.

Found a gem in the little town of Verdigre. Phil, the new owner, is so personable. The food is not your typical bar fare. I had the country burger with half beef and half pork with an egg on top. One of the best burgers I’ve had in a long time. Also tried the pesto mayo which is better than great. If this bat was in Omaha I would go often. Don’t miss this stop. Kitchen open 5 10.
