We slipped in here after escaping the many tourist shops in Old Montreal and it was like we stepped into a restaurant in Europe. It was lovely, but not to worry, everyone accommodated us in English. The lunch menu is very limited. The other members of my party ordered my first and second choice so I tried something else, which I wish I hadn't, but the portions are quite large so I ate off everyone else's plate and loved what would have been my first or second choice. There was also a nice special for $2 that gave you soup and dessert in addition to your entree. We added that to one meal and shared.

Great place to have dinner. Menu had lots of options. Food was delicious. Staff was friendly. Very nice Italian restaurant.

I was a little worried by some bad reviews for this restaurant, but so glad we went anyway. This lovely small restaurant is wonderfully located on rue Saint-Paul O near the corner of Boulevard Saint-Laurent in Old Montreal. The lunch menu was very short -- always a good sign of fresh food as a priority. I loved that there were kid-friendly options as well. The food came quickly, and was nicely presented. Everything was prepared simply, but with skill, and was delicious. I really can't think of anything they could have done better. Maybe we were just lucky on the day, but I think this restaurant deserves another visit. We will definitely come back!

While it may be understandable that occasionally, due to unforseen circunstances, a restaurant's staff will be overwhelmed and dinners will have to wait longer than expected, this popular chain seems to suffer from chronic dysfunctionality. On 3 separate occasions over the last 12 months, we've been caught waiting for a long time, 90 minutes on our last and final visit. The food is of acceptable quality but by the time it gets to you, you just are ready to leave. We will never go there again.Interestingly, the chain's web site does not allow for customers to comment or complain.
