The restaurant has a fantastic ambiance with stunning interior decor featuring North African motifs. The food is a fusion of international flavors. I tried the caribou in a sweet sauce with fruits in it. If you're looking for a great dining experience in Verdun, this is the place to go.
This restaurant is a local favorite in Verdun. My fiancé and I recently moved to the area and decided to try this gem after a long day of unpacking. We were impressed with the variety of chef specials and the blend of French and Moroccan cuisine on the menu. We both enjoyed our main dishes (rabbit for him and spicy chicken for me), although the chèvre chaud appetizer was a bit surprising with its heavy tomato sauce and toasted baguette. The restaurant was bustling with live opera music, but we were lucky to snag a cozy window table for two at the back. The lively atmosphere and delicious food have made us regulars at this spot. We will definitely be returning soon.
People said this is a great restaurant, but I don't see it. I went with friends. We all had the table d'hote. I chose the Tortellini that came with a salad and dessert. Others had lamb or steak or the chicken dish. The 3 cheese sauce for the Tortellini was vile. It was a brown engraving, no tomato sauce, and I didn't taste the taste. The salad that went before him was only green, no tomatoes or anything else, and the dressing too much vinegar so I had a bite of it. The dessert was cheesecake or Tiramisu and I took the former thing that was okay. My friends weren't so excited with the food either. The person with the steak who is a real carnivore said "too much sauce" on the meat. He had 2 bites and left the rest - and it was just before the meat was picked up that the waitress asked how he wanted to cook it! One person had a Thai dish and found that she wants and she is a lover of Thai food. Apparently, those who chose the soup over the salad have made a better choice. It was NOT a good meal experience for most of us. We had to bear the sun on the terrace on a very hot day with parasols that did not block it, then the wind that turned the day cool, then we landed in for dessert because the weather was impossible and everyone was cold. We started with dirty wine glasses that smeared on them and had fingerprints that were exchanged for some with dishwasher strips. The waitress was very nice to us and it was sad to disturb her because she had to fly up and down to serve the terrace. This Resto is in Verdun and it is not an area that I usually go and would make 't another special trip. It's a corner square in a neighborhood. I wished her well, but I won't be back.
This restaurant is located outside the major central area of Montreal in the area of Verdun. Beautiful corner location near 2 underground stations with beautifully illuminated large and high-boiling space. Has colorful tile walls and interesting ceiling lighting. Food very good and cheap. Had...lamb and rabbit dishes that look wonderful when placed in front of you. You also have some unusual burgers and great roast potatoes. It is also a separate wine spot. Will be back to try the roof terrace later in the season. Worth a visit.
