The Sloppy Pig - Vernal

We had lunch here. My husband had the pulled pork sandwich and coleslaw and I had the cheeseburger. Both were very tasty. They made a pancake for our toddler too. Service was great. I would eat here again and again.

BARF!! If it’s possible to give zero stars I would have. The young lady that took my order was super nice, the old lady that delivered my food was not! As far as the food goes, I have never had BBQ this awful! The brisket came chopped up, cold and literally in a tray of grease (see photos). It was so bad I could only eat two bites before I threw it away. The ribs were so over cooked that it was like eating jerky. The beans were ok. I ordered home cut fries and the old lady first told me that she forgot to cook them. A couple minutes later she brings me an order of cold waffle fries (not home cut). I told her I ordered home cut. Here unapologetic answer was, “that’s what was on my order”. I said, that’s not what I ordered…”that’s what was on my ticket. To her Ornery credit, she did finally ask me if I wanted the other fries. At that point I was so disgusted, I just got up and walked out. It was that bad. $19 down the drain. DO NOT GO TO THIS AWFUL PLACE.

Had an awesome first experience here. the staff was absolutely amazing and I had a very genuine conversation with a lady who made the food (sorry for not remembering her name). We will definitely be back. Tremendous food, fair prices, and excellent ambience.

My family and I just moved to Vernal, and we decided to try out The Sloppy Pig today for lunch since it's just down the road from our house. So happy we tried it out! We have 6 people in our family, and not only did everyone find something to enjoy, but we all agreed that it was almost impossible not to just inhale our food. It was AMAZING!! We're forever customers now. We were very impressed with the prices, amount of food, and the wonderful customer service.

Food was middling but by far the worst customer service I’ve come across. Cold fries and chicken jerky posing as a tender. Brought it to their attention, in a to go order, no less and they refused to do anything. Would have been happy to just have something warm to eat. So take it or leave it, Vernal. Be smart and leave it. It’s beyond me how they have 2 locations.
