Jameson's Charhouse Vernon Hills

Not too bad, could have been better! The host was a fantastic gentleman around 55 years of age. Of course they were short-handed, but that wasn't the issue. The bathrooms were spotless which which means, that the kitchen is also squeaky clean! Anyway, I digress, it's just that my patty melt was really dry and not cooked to medium as I requested. I will say the waitress kept our glasses full, and that was very professional.

Was great for a Christmas dinner in a diner. Food was okay. Kinda great. Could be the alcohol talking lol really though the food was good for the price for sure. Had a great time.

Good steakhouse, with nice service. Had a nice modern feel. I would return to again, there's definitely some tough competition in Lake County for steakhouses, with probably 30 or 40 options, I'd say these guys fall somewhere in the upper middle of that group.

Really good food! Had the prime rib the other day with mashed potatoes. The prime rib was cooked very well, perfect medium with just the right amount of fat content. Also their balsamic vinegrette was really good with the salad. I like that they give you soup and salad with your meal. Overall had a really nice time and they made it even more special by bringing out tiramisu for my dad's birthday. He was so happy and we all had a great time. Will be 100% back for sure. Thank you for a great experience.

Nice and friendly service, big portions, but most of food is slightly overcooked for my taste. Anyway we had a nice time celebrating our friend's birthday, she got complimentary tiramisu.
