Maggiano's Little Italy - Vernon Hills

We ordered the family dinner, but to our dismay, two of the dishes contained pork, despite having communicated our dietary restrictions. This was a significant issue for us, as we had specifically requested no pork in our meal. Additionally, the Alfredo chicken dish did not contain any chicken, which was a major letdown. The service was notably slow, with long waits between courses, and we had to leave before dessert was served, even though it was included in the price we paid. This was disappointing, as we were looking forward to trying the dessert menu. To make matters worse, it took an excessive amount of time to receive the bill, and when it arrived, we noticed that the prices on the menu did not match what we were actually charged. This was highly frustrating and left us feeling taken advantage of. Although the restaurant did offer us a 50% discount, it was nearly negated by the discrepancies between the menu prices and our final bill. Despite all these issues, we were pleased with our server, who was friendly and attentive, doing her best to make our experience enjoyable. It was not her fault that the restaurant was understaffed and unable to provide an acceptable level of service. However, overall, our experience at the restaurant was not positive, and we cannot recommend it to others.

Everything was fantastic—the atmosphere, the food, and the service. I felt a bit sorry for our server, as it was only his second day. It seemed like he was left on his own to figure things out, but he did his best and will definitely make a great server in the future. My only complaint is that we were seated at a table right in front of the door. It was a cold day, and people were coming in and out constantly, as this place is VERY BUSY! There's clearly a reason for that. Otherwise, we had a very enjoyable experience.

First time here and definitely NOT my last. The service was great from the get go with the host being very attentive and we were seated immediately. Our waiter, Anton, was very nice and went above and beyond (refilled without us needing to ask, brought us new bread when we were low, etc). I had a shrimp Diavlo dish that he recommended and it was delicious. They had the best mozzarella marinara I’ve ever tried, and the bread was always fresh and soft. Will come back and definitely worth the price.

Delicious food! My wife and I ordered calamari as a starter, it was very well made. Main was spaghetti and meatball for me and stuffed mushrooms and we finished with a chocolate layered cake. It was well balanced, rich without becoming too much. Our waitress Jacqueline was the best. Super attentive and knowledgeable.

I highly recommend this restaurant for its service, food, location, and parking. My husband and I were invited to dinner by our church's superintendent, and from the moment we walked in, we were greeted with smiles and warmth. Our waiter, Alan, along with his co-worker, was exceptionally pleasant, attentive, and accommodating, ensuring that all our needs were met. They handled our large table with ease and professionalism. A big shoutout to the manager for hiring such wonderful staff! Thank you once again, Alan, for your outstanding service.
