Regrettably, the dining experience at this charming hotel did not meet expectations. The standard of such establishments led to some disappointment. One area that could use improvement was the handling of the $40 breakfast voucher. It was unusual to pay for the meal upfront and then wait for a refund. Additionally, the voucher did not cover the tip, which may have surprised some guests. Overall, while the hotel itself was enjoyable, the restaurant's food and service did not meet the expected quality. It appears that many others shared similar complaints. With a price of over $300 for one night, I had hoped for a better experience.

We recently had a day outing that included a meal and drinks. We had a voucher that covered $30 for the meal and $21 for drinks. Unfortunately, when we went to the bar, the bartender was extremely rude to us. She yelled at us with a disrespectful attitude, treating us as though we were trying to get something for free. All we wanted was what we had paid for. The bartender even falsely accused us of wanting a free drink to her coworker. This incident occurred on 9/5/2023 and marred what was supposed to be a fun day out with my sister. It's disappointing to see how one person's behavior can ruin an otherwise perfect day.

The bartender was unfriendly when I asked a question, making me feel like leaving. She seemed to be in a bad mood and was not customer-friendly. Despite this, we decided to stay for dinner and ordered drinks from another staff member. Unfortunately, the food and drinks were not great. However, the waitress was lovely. This experience occurred on September 5, 2023, at 5 pm.

Was expecting something better for the price. Food is blah. My first night I ordered overpriced penne pasta with chicken, which had no flavor, I had to add salt and pepper to give it a bit. Next morning I ordered room service for breakfast, it took 1hr to get it and to be disappointed as well. Omelette runny inside and no salt pepper delivered . the following day for breakfast came to the restaurant thinking it would be a different experience on food but it wasn't. Avocado toast was more like tomato toast, asked for well done eggs, it was still runny. My son ordered scrambled eggs they were runny as well. Even though I get a $40 credit for breakfast I will be heading out for the next 2 days. I'd rather pay for something good.

We were staying at their sister resort and the breakfast menu here sounded better and had more options. Large portions .I had an egg white omelette. It was good, but I couldn’t finish it. My husband had the classic eggs Benedict. He ate it all!!! Our Server Jason was nice and friendly.He even gave us recommendations on things to do near by and things to do. We took his advice and walked on the Appalachian Boardwalk Trail. It was a nice nature walk.
