The Italian Kitchen - Vernon

The gluten free pasta at this restaurant is excellent.

The facility that was eating and the service were good, but it was much too dark in the restaurant to really enjoy our culinary experience. all had to use the flashlights on their phones to read the menu. my man and I ordered the blackened prime rib. I have to cut the fat off my flesh because the texture gagging. I could not see the fat so that this created a less than optimal culinary experience. when we paid the bill, I offered a feedback to our server and she said that she has already heard this customer care, but this is the way the owner wants it. so vernon offers a handful of very nice restaurants such as intermezzo, the med the phoenix steakhouse, so I would recommend to everyone of those who would travel over the Italian cuisine.

Because of the mud slide that blocks the autobahn from vancouver, food shops and restaurants are not able to have all their normal supplies; but we had a beautiful meal of caesar salad (homemade dressing,) prawns, ravioli (generous portion,) salmon, cream brulee, water, wein and espresso. the staff was knowledgeable and friendly. the decoration was brick and white lighter. Eating is generally expensive. but it's worth it.

A great experience. I couldn't get over the road at 8 o'clock in the med restaurant. too late for them, so went over the road to the Italian kitchen and glad that we did. had a fantastic dinner. kovid compliant and friendly welcome. started with a...Gutschein sangrias and their version of a Bocconcini salad with a light drop basalmic reduction. Very good. the carbonara was rich and creamy and my pescatore with blush' tomato sauce was fabulous. we couldn't finish, but nothing left. we were pleasantly surprised and pleased to pass on the road or original plan and into the Italian kitchen. a must be vernon. we will. thank you, grazie.

We have eaten more often in Italian cuisine than in past. eating is consistently good and they can make reservations. we arrived last night in the restaurant and gave our names on the reservation. we have been informed that there is no reservation for a party of 3. unfortunately someone came with the same first name and number in the party shortly before us into the restaurant and took our reservation place although they had no reservation. we were told, I'm sorry, there were no other tables. that is unacceptable. the waiting staff informed us as long as we had dinner and were ready before 18:30, we could stay and eat and use a table that was reserved. Italian cuisine is not quick to eat, but young, we had to order quickly, eat quickly and get out. It would have been nice to have a certain compensation for this behavior. it wasn't our fault. we don't have to eat in the Italian kitchen in the future. it doesn't seem like they really care for customers.
