I visited the drive-through with my dog, and they treated him to some dog-friendly bagels that he absolutely loved. I, of course, got my power bagels too, which made it a great day overall!
I had a toasted bagel with lox and cream cheese, paired with iced coffee. There was just a small slice of lox on each half of the bagel, but it was complemented nicely with capers and onions. The bagel itself was very good, but the coffee was just okay. To be honest, the Brooklyn Water Bagel up the road offers more lox, although they don’t provide capers, and it's a bit pricier. If I didn't mind the extra 10-minute drive, I'd probably go to Brooklyn Water. On a positive note, the service here was excellent.
The only mistake I made was choosing to go inside instead of opting for drive-thru. Haha! I typically get just a sesame bagel with roasted butter, and I still have that, but I also tried their new French toast, which I feel would be even better when served hot. I can't forget to mention Indy and the dog bag I brought along. The manager, who has been there since the restaurant opened, and her staff are very friendly.
I had a great experience at this location. The staff, including Lisa and Emma, are fantastic! I highly recommend visiting here. Every time I come, they always take great care of me, no matter when I arrive. From the friendly cashier to the hardworking team at the drive-thru and coffee area, to the dedicated bagel makers, including J.P., Jarred, Trevor, and John, everyone contributes to a wonderful experience. I will definitely be returning to this place. It has so much to offer!
