Sumo House - Vero Beach

My experience was alright. I had to return to the restaurant to get my order corrected, which meant a 30-minute drive each way, battling through rush hour traffic. I requested a replacement for my plate and a refund for that specific dish, not the full $40, due to their mistake and the inconvenience caused by my travels. I appreciate their willingness to accommodate me. On a positive note, the seafood salad was really tasty.

I ordered the sweet potato curry dish, and it was fantastic! The portion was generous, and it was still hot when I got home, even after a 6-mile drive. The seasoning was just right—not too overpowering. The service was excellent, too, with no waiting time at all. I picked it up on a busy Saturday night, and it only took about 15 minutes. Highly recommend!

My only issue was with the service. It felt like our server had forgotten about us. It took her a while to return to take our drink and food orders, as well as to process our payment. When she did take our food order, she was quite rushed and seemed to cut us off mid-sentence. I hope that next time we have a different server with better attentiveness because this place truly deserves a 5-star rating! Despite the service hiccup, I would definitely return and look forward to experiencing the service at its best next time.

I originally rated quite higher. Spoke to manager multiple because of lack of service under par food quality. Previous food industry experience everything I got was so sorry. I had to delete our own records. No look back at the table in 2 hours for drinks. Never get all food or credit for missing items, although repeatedly mentioned. Miso soup after weighing delivered at the end of the meal. All foods were subpar. For the first time for 40 years, I haven't tipped. This was a birthday with a reservation. Expect unexpected emergencies, but still IHOP service food. Although I earlier go 2x a week may not go back

Great Thai and Japanese cuisine, Fantastic service, and live entertainment as well. We especially enjoyed the spring rolls and the tempura shrimp and vegetables. Best miso soup I've had. Price of our meals (2 of us) was $42 and included appetisers and drinks.
