Sugar River Pizza Company - Verona

I absolutely love this restaurant! Whether I order pizza, lasagna, or a salad, I always start my meal with the farm-fresh dishes. The food is excellent, and I can't get enough of the burrata—it’s simply amazing! The service is consistently great, with friendly and helpful staff. It's a wonderful place, and I always enjoy coming here!

We tried Sugar River Pizza, which is about a 30-minute drive from my house, for my birthday since I wanted to visit somewhere new. I absolutely loved it! They seated us quicker than expected, and we were able to eat on the terrace, which I preferred. We started with an appetizer of breadsticks filled with goat cheese and served with marinara sauce that was both delicious and quick to arrive. We ordered two specialty pizzas: one was half and half, and the Big Mac pizza was phenomenal. The loaded potato pizza was also a hit. The portions were generous; we had enough left over for another meal at home the next day. The service was very friendly, and our server did a fantastic job! When she learned it was my birthday, she even treated us to complimentary cinnamon bites that were amazing! We will definitely be back!

Yesterday, my wife, some friends, and I visited Sugar River Pizza Co. as part of our pizza group, which we call Mad City Pizza Tours. We focus on non-chain pizza places around the Madison area and evaluate them based on various criteria. I'm thrilled to report that Sugar River has received the highest rating we've ever given! They earned an impressive score of 9.8 out of 10, which is almost unheard of. We're excited to return and try more of their menu offerings!

The service was great as it was eating. the gourmet pizza was delicious! I had the special hugging, blue cheese, fresh mushroom and cherry tomato 10 inches. enjoy the craft beer selection.

Soooooo goooood!! Everything is from local sources and tastes amazing. The **** Mary I had there was THE best I have ever had. This place is somewhere you have to...need to go for some delicious food and the staff there were really nice and fun.
