Verona Inn Tavern

What a fantastic spot! Brittany was incredible, and the beers are reasonably priced. The atmosphere is warm and lively inside. The buffalo chicken salad was delicious. No drafts from the cold outside either. It’s a perfect place to watch the game!

This is my go-to place in town, and the Fried Pickles are absolutely my favorite! I really enjoyed the mini sliders with sweet potato fries as well, and I would definitely order them again.

The patio is lovely, and the food was good, but the service was incredibly slow. We were seated quickly after the hostess combined two tables for our group of five—three adults and two kids. However, we waited over five minutes without anyone coming to our table. We tried to flag down a staff member, but it turned out he wasn't our waiter; he assured us he would find our server. Unfortunately, it took more than eight minutes for our waiter to finally arrive. It was quite frustrating trying to explain to a thirsty toddler that water was on the way while we watched the staff walking around.

I?ve gone to the Verona Inn at least once a month for the last several years (aside from deep in the pandemic). It?s in my top three places to frequent. Great tap list, solid food, excellent service. Normally five stars. Tonight I was disappointed forthe first time ever when I was served portions that were noticeably less than normal. First, I was poured a beer in a goblet(smaller than a pint, which is unusual for this place). It was only half full though. Maybe 6 8 oz. When I asked why the glasswasn?t filled, I was told the management instructed the staff to do this because it was higher alcohol content. It was only 1%more than a similar beer that I?ve ordered before that always comes in a full pint for the same price. The logic didn?t makesense, so when I asked about it and the staff went out of their way to pour a proper pint. I suggested posting volume of pourson the menu in cases like this, all was fine. Then came my meal. I?m one of those creatures of habit that orders the same wrapalmost every time. It?s not a big meal as it is and was significantly smaller than usual to the point that I was still hungryafter I ate. I get that inflation is a major challenge for restaurants, and I want to see this one continue to thrive. Writingthis review as constructive feedback to the management changes like this should be communicated to patrons. Or I?d be happy topay a little more rather than feel shortchanged on the items I order. Hope things improve the next time.

The Hola Burger is a must try!! 10/10 the bacon wrapped jalapeños are just one of a kind, great service overall! from bartenders to serves! deff recommend this place for a night out. they also have a live band every friday!! deff will be back.
