We were super warm and in need of some water, and a shady place to sit. We refreshed ourselves here with a lovely lunch and very nice (albeit super busy) waiters. They quickly rearranged the tables to fit our party of 7, and although it...took a long time before they took our order because they were so busy, we enjoyed just being still and cooled while we waited.
Absolutely recommend, we were hungry and tired, came into a rather packed area with no hope for a table for five. Thierry helped us by rearranging tables and made space. He was quick service minded and made our visit just what we needed. Food was...ok, no praise no complaints. One of the best moments of our day at fabulous Versailles.
My friends and I were looking for somewhere to take a seat in the shade for drinks and a small (expensive) bite. Before we told the server what we wanted to drink, he told us we were not allowed to sit unless we ate as...well. So, we ordered a crepe to share and let the server know. He quickly came back two minutes later (rather aggressively) and told us that if we wanted our crepe we would have to walk to the back of the cafe and pick it up ourselves. We found this extremely rude, so we got up and left. This is the worst experience I have had in Paris so far. NO ONE COME HERE!
Incredible service! hamburger and drinks were totally tasty. Very good dinner with my boyfriend. we went before the show: the great night waters at the castle of worms. totally recommended. A must-see! Andréa b.
