Tried this restaurant for breakfast. We were advised that their pastry was somewhat different with less salt and more nutritious, so we gave it a go. The croissants were small and hard and difficult to eat. The pain au chocolate was the same. Managed one mouthful only. Coffee was okay. Total cost 13 euros. When we explained we couldn’t eat the pastries, we were told that’s the way they make them. No offer of a refund or anything as an alternative, so just tough on us as we’d already paid. This is a place to avoid! Just round the corner is a Paul patisserie where we purchased proper fresh French croissants for 1.3 euros each, which were great, so go there instead.
We had ginger carrot soup, quiche, a chorizo sandwich and dessert. The chef and staff gave excellent service and helped us pick the delicious food choices. Thanks for the healthy and most importantly tasty meal!
Very good welcome for my package, despite the inefficiency of World Relay's crasse (but the bakery is there for nothing, she did her best. . I took advantage of it to take a coffee and a croissant, delicious. They offer patisseries to the epithelium that deserve the detour.
I promised, I was late, he said I'm writing my opinion on this extraordinary bakery. The owner is a man full of warmth and generosity, the chocolate bread was just as generous in taste and chocolate, so good that my partner and I took over. Having gluten intolerance, I was concerned about the quality of the flour, he was informed that the flour used came directly from the mill of Versailles. In general, my hand reacts as soon as I consume bad flour... which has not been the case here. They are very aware of the products they use, of the industrialization of bio, of the problems of gluten, ... They are open to discussion and criticism. I find a pity that someone can stop on such poor details as wearing the mask or taking a wand with his hands... I don't think the story of the creation of the wand is essentially based on the use of gloves during any manipulation of the wand... We can imagine that hygiene in such a place is irreproachable and that they frequently wash their hands. Thanks for creating such a wonderful place and launching the movement of healthy bakery or at least a continuous development experience! See you soon:
