The Halal Guys - VESTAL

I get that it’s a chain restaurant now but the chicken over rice had absolutely no flavor. All I tasted was the heat from the hot sauce. Then the salad is just lettuce and tomato, no cucumber. It was just very disappointing for $12

I went there hoping for a local, authentic falafel. The falafel balls were small, burned, and flavorless. The sauce, not good. Everything was expensive. Obviously run by local employees with fast food attitudes, not any halal guys...My mouth was sad.

I ordered through grubhub and this was my first time trying the food and it will be my last. There's nothing fresh about the food here at all. I ordered French fries, ? beef and chicken platter, hummus, and two teas. And I also payed for extra sauce that I never received. My platter came without my sauce. On grubhub I requested to have extra white sauce, Tahiti sauce, and hot sauce. Never received any sauce at all. My beef, rice, and chicken was dry and not appetizing at all. My shredded lettuce tasted old and rotten. The tea was good so was my French fries. I like the way my food and drinks were packaged nicely. But I wouldn't eat here again.

Food was really fresh, and the guy serving us was engaging and friendly!

They always take that extra step to ensure their customers are happy. The food and customer service are phenomenal.Vegetarian options: If you don't eat meat, they ask if you'd like your meal cooked on separate grill than they do with the meat.
