I thoroughly enjoyed the pasta at this restaurant. The noodles had a wonderful texture, and the sauces and accompaniments were quite creative. The dessert was also delicious. My only wish is that the bread had been grilled or served warm. You can really appreciate the quality of the ingredients, and everything was prepared with great care.

Another fantastic meal! The menu always offers delicious and beautifully presented dishes. We've never been disappointed, and this time we were thrilled to share the experience with two other couples. The newcomers were equally impressed with their choices. There is an accessible restroom (single room) that seems to be part of the hotel. However, there are a couple of areas that could be improved to enhance accessibility. The hook on the door is too high for someone in a wheelchair, as is the towel dispenser, which requires hand motion to operate. These issues could be easily resolved by adding a lower coat hook and adjusting the towel dispenser height. The restroom is spacious, and there is an assist bar next to the toilet.

We were looking for a light dinner away from the hustle and bustle of Fisherman’s Wharf, and Bar 500 turned out to be the perfect choice. Located in a peaceful residential neighborhood, it’s a stylish restaurant and bar with a great menu. I ordered the garlic prawns, and they were the juiciest prawns I’ve had in ages. The service was outstanding and very friendly. I would wholeheartedly recommend Bar 500.

Did not try the food, just had drinks while waiting for our transporation, but it was ok just to take a beer outside and the terrace was fabolous. Price for a beer was very cheap and they had excellent hazy IPA on tap.

LOVE going to the Bar 500 for jazz nights. Its a cozy atmosphere and not too crowded. The menu is small and the food is delicious. Our only request/recommendation is to add a few monthly dining features to change things up a bit. We would come more often then. All in All, a GREAT venue.
