I loved the ambience, the hospitality and the warmth that the owner and the staff radiated. After moving into my new apartment,I visited this Bistro often for brunch and coffee. I worked on my research, read books and wrote my diary all while enjoying asip of coffee and a tasty bite. My favourites include tofu sandwich and Florentine. The staff is always welcoming and friendly, which brings a smile to your face and you always want to come back. These are lovely people serving delicious food in a homeyatmosphere.
This was really bad. Water and coffee was never offered to be refilled. I ordered an omelette and was served the bowl version. I mentioned this to staff and they told me that they server wrote down bowl and that it was the same price so it shouldn't be aproblem. I told her it was fine (i really didn't want to wait anther 30 min while my partner ate their food). When I started toeat the egg bowl thing there was a bunch of liquid at the bottom of it. The eggs were very bad and it was all together not wortheating. I had a little toast but even that was dry and without much butter at all. I stopped eating my food and a few minuteslater our server came to offer the bill. No one came to ask if everything was okay, no one asked why I had hardly touched myfood, they just came asked if we would like to pay now. My partners food was sub par too although the eggs were a very goodpoach. We wont be back here and I would recommend others avoid
Amazing breakfast and lunch spot! My first go around I had the Clubhouse Chicken Sandwich and the Mennonite Sausage with Eggs Benedict the second. Both times were a treat and an experience on their own. Definitely coming back here when I am in townagain. Thanks Cherry!
Amazing food! Very relaxed atmosphere with 50s/60s music playing lightly in the background. Excellent array on the menu as well to choose from.
Been meaning to try this place but hours are usually detrimental to my work shift. Service was fine except receiving a pitcher of ice cold water would have been more sufficient than receiving mason jars of lukewarm water. The perogies dish was good and clearly their best dish but the Boston clam chowder was very lackluster as it seemed very soupy with very little clams (very disappointing value for $11). The duck hash is okay but not memorable enough to reorder in subsequent visits.I came to try their savory breakfast menu. If I come again, I'll test their sweet breakfast menu. Decor is a weird mishmash of eclectic and tacky. The faux flowers in the vases look like decades old dollar store flowers that could at least be updated with modern dollar store flowers that look a smidge more realistic? Either way, the establishment has its own funny charm so I will return.Parking: The establishment has its own parking lot that may be very cumbersome for very large vehicles (I try to park away from those). Try to use the adjoining larger parking lot in the plaza corner then walk over.
