Maybe i lucked out, but I was able to get a Farmer Bens breakfast pastry and 2 sour cherry and 1 blueberry pastries. Wow, they were awesome and gone so fast. I've been back this past Tuesday for a repeat, and it was even better, mainly cause i was earlier and everything seemed warmer and even fresher. This will probably be my new Tuesday morning tradition, cant wait to try other things as well. Also, for a small space, everything seems very well organized. The staff have all been very helpful, welcoming, and courteous. There is a very efficient flow here and also very clean. Thank you.
Visited Crust bakery by chance. I was really surprised by their absolutely delicious bakery. Be it Snickerdoodle cookie or Honey cinnamon cookies, you will love it. My personal favourites are Sour cherry pastry. From the crunch in them to the deliciousness of cherries , there is fusion of flavour in each and every bite. Friendly staff and quick service just adds to the beauty and experience of it. Do visit if you are in downtown.
Delicious. Well worth a wait in line to partake of these amazing pastries and baked goods. Highly recommend everything but the plum tart with almonds is out of this world.
RAW carrot cake! Unfortunately, it’s possibly the worst “carrot cake” you can have it’s actually a really dense wet muffin instead of a traditional cake and has cranberries and flate white chocolate chips, very strange and disappointing for a place that calls itself a bakery. The danishes taste old or frozen and if it’s not that, something else is off because the pastry is chewy and stiff instead of flaky and leaves a bad gritty aftertaste. Like other reviews, most pastries bought were sadly tossed because they were pretty bad. What a waste of money. You’re better off getting desserts anywhere else even the grocery store pastries are better. Are you ok Crust? Seems like a lot is not going well there.Nothing tasted fresh and is definitely not worth the prices upwards of $4.50 per pastry. Also, isn’t quiche supposed to be refrigerated? They have them stacked in the display case which doesn’t seem safe.Sad experience :
It’s the second time I’ve been here and the pastries are pretty good! The bacon quiche was delicious and so was the blackberry tart. The crème brûlée tart was a bit thick on the sugar though. Overall their pastries are great and I would definitely go here again.
