Why they shredded chorizo what was tasteless, I will never know. After he had eaten this dish in Spain and Portugal, it was obvious... the cook didn't know what he did and at $30 a dish, what a tear. You gave me half a court 50 and the waitress was great. We will eat here, but avoid the paella
From start to finish, the deliciously seasoned international cuisine, outstanding service, and excellent wine selection made for an amazing experience. Our group of ten gathered for their fantastic wine Wednesday and Happy Hour Deal, which was perfect. The diverse menu offered high-quality steaks, prime rib, baby back ribs, fresh salads, vibrant Asian Buddha-shots, and vegetarian options. We tried dishes from each section and they were all wonderfully flavored. The staff was friendly and attentive, making us feel like regulars on our first visit. Don't miss out on the drinks or desserts, they are both excellent. A date or a special event at the Fireside Grill is sure to be a memorable evening.
We visited an early dinner on Tuesday, December 6th, 2022. The restaurant's exterior is lovely, featuring a beautiful outdoor terrace with seasonal decorations and plenty of lighting to create a magical atmosphere. The interior is spacious and can easily accommodate large parties, making it ideal for family dinners. However, if you're seeking a more intimate atmosphere, the dining room may not be the best choice (perhaps try the lounge area instead). Personally, the restaurant felt too large for our party of 2. We were seated in the middle of the restaurant, and as it filled up, we could hear servers chatting about their weekend, which somewhat detracted from the ambiance. Our server was pleasant but quite shy, leading to an awkward interaction. The drinks were good, but the food was average and overly salty. It's unclear if the kitchen had an off night or if it was simply the dishes we ordered. Despite Fireside's 22 years in the industry, our experience was only average. While we may consider returning for a larger party, we might not choose to dine there as a couple again.
I attended a large group gathering for a Christmas dinner at this restaurant. The service was excellent and parking was easy to find, but difficult to leave as cars were parked closely behind. It is advisable not to wear nice shoes as there is mud. This was not my first visit and it was hard to tell if there were any new items on the menu. Were there daily specials? I decided to try the 1/2 Vietnamese chicken dish. It was flavorful, but the herbed salad seemed more like a bedding for the chicken. The chicken itself was tough and dense, indicating that it may have been sitting for a few days. The portion size was also disappointing as the "half" chicken was actually more like a quarter, consisting of a drumstick, a drumette, and a small piece of breast. Overall, this dish was not worth the $31.00 price tag.
My wife took me out for a birthday celebration. I ordered the special combination dinner which had duck breast , my wife ordered the halibut $39.50. I had to ask for a steak knife for the duck and even with steak knife It would not...cut ! The waiter agreed with me and returned it to the kitchen . Meanwhile my wife ate alone and found the halibut to be dry and definitely overcooked , she barely had half of it , only because she was very hungry . Meanwhile my duck arrived after she had finished quite a while later. The server was apologetic for the delays and quality and tried to make it right . To further dismay the desert was amateurish . My wife when asked could not tell the server again the further disappointment . Our server said the chef was going to treat us both to a free desert, however , one desert was to be included with my meal already.
