Floyd's Diner - Victoria

This restaurant is fantastic for breakfast! The portions are plentiful and the food is delicious. We had an amazing time at this diner!

The service at Floyd's is incredible and very welcoming. The food is fantastic and the portion sizes are generous. We always leave Floyd's feeling full and happy!

Although the exterior may be unimpressive and the interior somewhat worn, once you step inside, the atmosphere is lively. The staff, music, decorations, and especially the food all contribute to a pleasant, comfortable dining experience. We tried the breakfast plate (featuring delicious sausages) and chicken tacos with a side salad instead of fries. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and served in generous portions.

A fine place for breakfast with a very creative menu. I had the BC Hash, which was very good. My companion had the Roasted Yam and Squash Bowl which he enjoyed very much. The portions are very large, allowing one to get a second meal out of it. The breakfast menu is idiosyncratic, with less flexibility in constructing a breakfast than your reviewer is accustomed to. The service was efficient and very friendly. And they do take Visa and MasterCard credit cards. If in the neighborhood again we would definitely return.

It was a fun little place for a quick Sunday breakfast. It was very busy, so we had to wait a while, but the food and service were wonderful!
