Your dimming sum is excellent and very generously cut. The evening menu has a wide selection with some unusual dishes such as hot pots of lamb or chicken with Chinese sausage and dried mushrooms. Service is fast and unfussy. I am surprised that it is not rated higher in Tripadvisor reviews.
Her squid court was a masterpiece, Scallop prawn was divine desserts were bakery quality. Nice place for a family trip.
This was one of our favorite dimming centers for many years, but it has changed management twice in the last few years and is not so good. the garnels in our grains were overcalculated and rubbery, and the decreasing wrappers were thick and zigig. the pork noodles were strangely shaped and the meat was delicious. they were covered with garnels that were fishy tasting. the pork chops were underboiled on the inside and dry and on the outside excessively sticky. Although the server were efficient, no one asked us if the food was good. this was in the regular a disappointing meal.
The restaurant itself is very pleasant and there are parking spaces outside for $2 per hour. We went for dimming. The main complaint is that the individual pieces were huge. Sometimes four, more often three or even two per article. A group of four would double to each of their decisions. We were not offered water or diving sauce. I had to go back to ask soy sauce, did the same when I asked for a few diving sauce and a small bowl of a kind of plum sauce was brought along and a fee for $2.50 was on the bill. Not even were we asked if everything was okay or if we wanted to order something else. I came out of the touch bill to nearly $60 for two people. Acceptable food, but we will definitely look for another place next time.
Newly renovated, clean and tasty. I hadn't been here since it recently reopened under new ownership and I'm so glad I did. Four of us ordered several dim sum and I was surprised how big each item was, and very tasty. It's definitely the better...choice today for dim sum in Victoria. We all agreed to return. The scallop prawn dish was so fresh and tasty. I think I'll return on my own for a few plates of just that!
