The food here is comically badI've seen staff microwave patron's food here.
This restaurant has not changed in over a decade and there is nothing wrong with that.
We went to this location for lunch Thursday as J & J noodle house was unfortunately closed.I ordered Szechuan noodle soup, the noodles were disgusting and bland. It looks like they threw a scoop of kimchi on top. I told the server it was not what I had expected and told him to take it away. No replacement and charged me the full pop. Very disappointed and will never return...or recommend. It was suppose to be my birthday lunch, my Aunt paid for it all and even left him a $5 tip. Don't go!!!!
Johns used to be one of my favourite places over the years of visiting here. Now that we've moved here I must say that either my memory isn't what it used to be or something has gone terribly wrong. Our last two visits have both resulted in tough dumplings and overly sweet and soy-sauced dishes. Two dishes, the honey sesame chicken and the spicy ginger beef were virtually indistinguishable and both awful. Szechuan noodle dish was devoid of flavour and heat. We gave it two tries but we won't be returning again. Sad to lose what was once a good restaurant.
