Run down, dirty, no air conditioning, one of the filthiest rooms I have been in (see photos)We came in late at night and although we noticed it was not in updated- it wasn't until the light of day (and after a sweltering night with no ac) that we saw how disgusting our room was. Stains and filth on carpeting that made my skin crawl. Torn filthy curtains (no idea even what color they started off at...30 years ago)Gaaaarooosss balconyBLOOD STAINS ON SHEETS red mystery stains (more blood???) on walls Toilet that clogged Clumps of hair all over floorDoor handles that had "substance" on themBuffet was ...not good. Sausage not fully cooked. Eggs looked like they were stopped on floor. Close that freakin kitchen down.

We stayed for three nights in a nice clean and comfortable room. The hotel is in a good location convenient for the harbour, downtown Victoria and other attractions. We were on the fifth floor and did not have a harbour view but the view from our window was fine. There's a nice big pool and gym. We were on a room only basis but bought breakfast in the hotel at C$8 for continental and C$14 for full breakfast we found to be excellent value for money.Staff were friendly and helpful. Service at breakfast was good.

This is an older hotel in need of upgrading and maintenance. The location is perfect for downtown and harbour! The staff is friendly and helpful.

Stayed on the 10th floor and a king suite. Great view of the harbor. Room was excellent and large. We sat on the balcony each evening and watch the boats and planes land while drinking wine. Parking was OK but spaces are small and there needs to be a place for large trucks and SUV's to park. They take up almost 2 spots. Have them go on the lower levels.
