Dockside Boiling Pot - Victoria

We've been dining here almost every week for the past nine months and we absolutely love everything on the menu. From fries to seafood, catfish to calamari, whatever you choose, you're guaranteed to enjoy it. We even tried alligator for the first time here, and now it has become a regular favorite for us.

Two members of my party really enjoyed the fried shrimp basket. I opted for the cook option, which is a bit different from standard ordering. You choose each item you want cooked, like shrimp and crabs, and if you'd like potatoes or corn, those are priced separately. It can get a bit pricey, but everything was fresh and delicious. The staff was incredibly friendly. Just a note, though: they were using a Piniensol-type cleaner on the floor nearby, and the smell was quite strong. It’s not something I want to smell while I’m getting ready to eat. However, aside from that, I would definitely come back!

The seafood is fresh, but the shrimp are quite small. They also don't have a register, so I ended up paying $1.85 for a can of Coke. I'm not sure why I tipped on my card when I placed my order, as there has been no service at all since then.

So good seafood! The Shrimps and King Crabs are delicious! Great taste and great atmosphere. Get ready to get messy and have a good meal in your stomach!?

Love this place!! The food is great and so is the atmosphere. I had the crawfish boil, homemade fries and alligator!! Will definitely be back!
