Double J Eatery - Victoria

I was really disappointed in this restaurant. I ordered a grilled turkey sandwich. It had 2 small pieces of deli meat, sliced extremely thin on Texas toast with mayo lettuce and tomato. Could not even taste the turkey. My onion rings were barely warm.Someone else ordered a hamburger and the meat was clearly mixed with bread crumbs. She loved her small salad though. I would notrecommend this place. I will not return either.

The service was slow, and when the food finally arrived, the fries were cold. Also, if you're dining close to closing time, be prepared for the staff to start glaring at you and to see them stacking chairs on tables around you. Good food alone isn't enough; some changes are definitely needed.

This place is an absolute gem in Victoria! I tried the chicken-fried steak sandwich, curly fries, and grilled chicken salad, and everything was cooked perfectly—served hot and delicious. The jalapeño ranch dressing was particularly outstanding. I highly recommend visiting this restaurant if you're in the mood for some great food!

I received a warm welcome as soon as I entered the restaurant. The place was clean and had a lively atmosphere, with a delightful aroma of grilled ground beef both inside and outside that made my mouth water in anticipation of that Double J double meat double cheeseburger! It was already sounding delicious! The service was excellent, and our meals arrived promptly, just like I remembered from years ago. The grilled meat was wonderfully flavorful and melted in my mouth. The prices here are very reasonable as well. I adore the rustic hunter's lodge decor; it has always been my favorite style. I also enjoy the old country music playing at just the right volume, perfect for a little dance. Overall, I'll definitely be coming back many times. Thank you, Double J! P.S.
