Q at The Empress - The Fairmont Empress Hotel

We had drinks on the patio. My iced Americano was great. The basil tea was more sour than sweet same for the orange drink. Thank you for the wonderful patio!

The hotel is good but restaurant is excellent! The chef understands combination of flavors and goes from subtle to daring in his dishes. Compliments.

While this is fine dining, the meal wasn't spectacular and at a price 50% higher than any other fine dining restaurant, it just doesn't rate. I wouldn't go there again. Although the service was fine, it's not what you should get for a 5-star hotel restaurant. there are better examples of good restaurant food quality in Victoria. I suggest you take a pass, unless you wish to spend too much money for a good (average) meal.

Such a great experience. Came here with a group of friends and family. Eva was our server and was absolutely amazing. The atmosphere is incredible and the drinks sublime. The popcorn is to die for. Can’t wait to come back.

Don’t waste your money on the salads. The asparagus salad was pathetic. Less than a finger volume of asparagus with a spoonful of hummus. I was offended.
