Excellent food enjoyed in a colonial building that was rehabilitated with beautiful designs from past, but with the comfort of today.

Stopped for a late lunch on a Sunday. Both of us decided to order margaritas and arrachera steaks, medium-rare. The cocktails were very good and the bartender even came over to double-check on what we wanted. The steaks were perfectly done, and the sides delicious....The waiters helped each other to understand what we wanted, as our Spanish is limited. We loved the historical setting too.

Great service and great food. Recommended by a friend. The repurposed mansion provides a unique dining experience. We had an intimate table on second floor overlooking what would have been the courtyard. Excellent musicians played below later in evening. Diners are seated in numerous rooms...connected by stairways and doorways, allowing separation of typical large family groups from those anticipating a more intimate evening. Decor emphasizes local antiques, and examining what's hanging on the walls will entertain. Our waiter was informative and attentive. We started with a delicious calamari appetizer, shared a salad of tender fresh greens vegetables, then had great mains and dessert. My companion had fresh tuna, deftly seared and rare, with that distinctive spicy taste, perfect. My chicken mole was excellent, with the nutty flavor coming through. New enjoyed the music as we finished our wine and dessert. Truly a great evening. Just a note, we made reservations for 7:30, and although the place seemed empty when we arrived, it was full when we left. Local folks dine late here.

The service and the food have taken a huge dive. When I moved here about 3 1/2 years ago this was my favorite place. I am not sure what happened, but the food and service are terrible now. Hopefully the owner will figure things out...and return it to glory. Maybe tour buses are the problem?

Excelente servicio de los meseros, la comida muy rica. Buscaba un lugar para comer con la familia después de un viaje y el lugar es excelente y acogedor. Platillos con buenos precios, aunque en algunos cortes si están algo elevados
